LSC Facades have recently secured the project Isledon Road, London.

This exceptional Student Accommodation in Islington will capture the interest of many passer buyers with the use of multicoloured  vibrant tiles.

LSC are working alongside the contractor Mace Ltd and the architects TP Bennett to design, supply and install the terracotta tiles, Metsec Framing, Windows and Curtain Walling worth in the region of £2.7 million.

LSC Facades are currently working on the leisure facility for Balfour Beatty at ‘The Life Centre’ in Plymouth which is a hot topic with the residents and making the local News.

Construction is well underway as the vibrant external panels are being installed. LSC will be installing 1100msq of StoVerotec glass system consisting of two colours, yellow and blue.

It is these particular colours that have got the local residents talking, as these colours represent the cities rival football team, Torquay United. With Plymouth Argyle football grounds in close proximately of the leisure centre, it will be a constant reminder of their ongoing rivalry.

LSC's package also includes 8 colours of StoTherm external render system, Elefant mesh, and Schuco Glazing. In addition to the envelope package, LSC are also undertaking the internal Trespa Athlon works for the Dive Tower and Sports Hall.

With works on schedule for completion, the countdown for opening has begun.

Hale Village – Block SE

Hale Village London N17 is an enormous regeneration programme with construction well underway. The development will eventually incorporate retail centres, affordable private and social housing, educational and commercial facilities plus a hotel.

LSC’s package was for the whole façade and worth almost £4m.  This included design, supply and installation of over 1200msq of Petrarch, 1400msq of Trespa Meteon, 4200msq of Metsec, 1450msq of Envirowall Render, 300msq of Aluminium Panels plus the Curtain Walling, Windows and Canopy.

The project consisted of two blocks with a residential scheme of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and space for commercial use.

Due to the success of this block LSC Facades have secured further blocks within the site for both Willmott Dixon Housing and United House.

LSC have recently completed a project for the main contractor Linden Homes.
Ocean Village apartments, Southampton

The development comprises of 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartment and is situated in the luxurious area of Ocean Village, Southampton.  The apartments are located close to restaurants, Cinemas, Bars and Yacht Clubs.

LSC designed, supplied, applied and installed 6000 metres squared of multicoloured Envirowall Render, 1200msq of Bauclad and 600msq of Thermowood.

LSC have recently completed a project for the Main Contractor Chalegrove Properties Ltd.
Marsh Wall, Canary Wharf

These two residential apartment blocks designed by Architects Squire and Partners combine a contemporary image with energy efficiency.

LSC designed, supplied and fixed the external cladding, worth £1.7 million, consisting of 4500msq Metsec SFS, 3650msq of Tempio tile in two colours and finishes and Kingspan insulated panels. Kingspan insulated panels were also supplied and fitted to the roofs of the two adjacent skyscrapers which tower over Canary Wharf.

LSC have recently completed a project for the Main Contractor Willmott Dixon.
Goldsmiths University

This exceptional building was designed by the award winning architects Stride Treglown. The new building for Goldsmiths University has been purposely built to enhance new facilities which replace the existing building.

Within the new building contains a new 250 seat lecture theatre, teaching spaces, meeting rooms, studio editing suits along with other facilities for students and lecturers.

LSC’s involvement was to design, supply and fix 2260msq of the multi coloured Argeton Terracotta, Alucobond ACM and Envirowall Render.

We have recently finished two projects for John Sisk & Son, who are one of the UK’s largest construction groups. The two projects, 10 Weymouth Street & the cinema in Newbury.
10 Weymouth Street, London

This is a unique residential development in West London which backs on to RIBA’s head office. LSC’s involvement was design, supply and fix of the whole facade including the Brass cladding, Balcony Glazing, Punched Brass Balcony Panels, Raynaers Windows and Doors and Metsec SFS wall construction and worth over £1.3m to LSC.

The 1.5mm TECU natural brass, which is a totally recyclable material, was a completely bespoke cassette system supplied by CGL and specially designed for this project.

Cinema, Newbury

Another project was a 1000 seat new cinema and restaurant complex within the centre of Newbury. LSC was again designed, supplied and fixed the external cladding, Envirowall render and Telling SFS wall construction worth almost £800k.

The Rainscreen cladding consisted of silver Alucobond ACM which was over 1100msq of adhesive fixed solid flat and curved panels and 500msq of rivet fixed perforated panels and the red cladding around the entrance glazing was Marley Eternit Natura.
